The wonderful piece know as and called iPhone 6 was created by Apple after scrutinizing every single element and material. The phone has the thinnest display that occasioned a thinner profile. iPhone 6 is made of  beautiful anodized aluminum, stainless steel, and glass.

iPhone 6 feels great when held
on hand. The  cover glass of the devise  is simply and remarkably designed to curve down around the sides, and fits with the anodized aluminum enclosure in such a way that there is no distinct edges nor gap. The phone just have a  seamless bond of metal and glass that feels like one continuous surface.
The height of mobile architecture was attained in designing this epoch making piece when a large iPhone was created leaving out no feeling of being bigger. In other words, Apple in making this phone, condensed the device by making smaller chips, thinner but more powerful battery and thinnest most advanced multi-touch display. In this master-piece, the idea of “big’ was challenged in order to yield a thin design.

The physical design of  iPhone 6 was greatly enhanced by integrating the device with iOS swipe 8 together. The Io8 swipe was made more fluidy, across the seamless form, making navigation of iPhone 6 very easy, so that the user can interact with the larger screen in different ways.  This can simply be achieved by double touching the Home button and the entire screen shifts down closer to the user’s thumb. When the user wants to navigate Safari or Mail, all he simply needs to do is swipe left to right across the screen to go backward, or swipe right to left to go forward.

Use of the iPhone is now made very easy. The buttons are now redesigned to make it easier to operate. The volume button has been elongated and are integrated into the thinner profile, they are easily found with the feeling of touch because they are outlined. The sleep/wake button, unlike in the previous generation of the iPhones is now placed on the side of the device making it easily reachable.

Display.

In making iPhone 6, Apple take the lead in the new  Display technology that  translated into extraordinarily light dEvice, putting the physical appearance into consideration. Every single material used here was carefully selected and in putting the materials into work, attention was paid to the tiniest details accordingly, Apple stated that “each detail was meticulously designed, engineered, and crafted until iPhone had an incredibly thin, continuous form. From the anodized aluminum and stainless steel to the curve of the polished glass, iPhone 6 is worth its weight in gold, silver, and space gray.”

The higher-resolution Retina HD displays used on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is sizable and accordingly, it becomes the first thing a user may notice once he sights the device. This new innovation makes for higher contrast, dual‑domain pixels for more accurate color at wider viewing angles, and an improved polarizer. The features above makes it the thinnest, most advanced Multi‑Touch displays ever made by Apple. Consequently, the Retina HD display becomes the window through which the user does everything on the phone contrary to the former use of button system.

The system has an advanced process of photo alignment which  involves using UV light to position the display’s liquid crystals in a precise manner, the result is that they lie exactly where they should, this then produces a superior viewing experience, with deeper blacks and sharper text.

The new Retina HD has dual-domain pixel that enables color accuracy from corner to corner this ensures that every user experiences stunning clarity. The images produced follows the user every where he goes.

The iPhone 6 has a larger viewing area this accommodates most new softwares designed to make most of the additional space.

What You Need To Know About iPad Air 2

Source: Cnet.com
In iPad, APPLE has one goal: to create a device that’s immensely powerful, yet so thin and light that it may be passed unnoticed. The most noticeable thing about iPad Air 2 is that it is incredibly
thin and light. It’s thickness is just 6.1 millimeters, making it Apple’s thinnest iPad so far.

The Device weighs less than one pound. This characteristic makes it very easy to hold in one hand and be taken wherever.

Some years back when Apple introduced the first iPad, the world easily noticed  the thinness and lightness that the device was said to have set a standard for thinness and lightness. Having set a standard, Apple have continued to make ipads subsequently produced to be lighter and thinner. This is made possible courtesy of its durable aluminum unibod. The most amazing thing about  iPad Air 2 is that it is stronger than any similar device out there. This by implication means that it did not sacrifice its strength in the pursuit of thinness, the device is very study and rigid.

iPad Air 2 Display.

In the previous generations of iPad, the manufacturers used three separate components in their displays. In iPad Air 2, a new innovation was introduced, the three layers of the displays were combined into one, eliminating gaps between one layer and the other along-side the internal reflectance that had been the resultant effect of those gaps. This consequently led to having richer colors, greater contrast, sharper and more vivid image.

This new innovation brings the device’s LCD layer  closer to the eyes of the user, enhancing good user-experience, especially in the relationship between the device’s screen  and the user’s finger.

There is also an improvement in the sensitivity of the screen that it now tracks the user’s finger more accurately. This in-turn makes for good user and personal experience when one uses iPad Air 2 to play games, surf the web, or watch photos and videos.

According to Apple, “iPad Air 2 has a custom-designed antireflective coating that reduces glare by 56 percent, making it the least reflective tablet in the world. In virtually any kind of environment — offices, classrooms, outdoors — everything is clearer and more readable.” This assertion has been tried and verified and it turned out to be true.

Back Cover.

The back of iPad Air 2 is covered with an anodized aluminum body,  having a beveled edge cut with a mono-crytalline diamond measured in microns, the same parameter used in measuring the width of a human hair, giving it a an elegant metallic and detailed finishing.

Battery.

iPad Air 2 has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. This technology currently provides the best performance for the device. When compared with older battery types, lithium-ion batteries weigh less, last longer, and charge more efficiently.

If people who lived in the 18th century would be made to return to the earth and observe the type of technology that exist, they would wonder if this is the same earth where they existed. They will also wonder if the brain the human of today have is different from the ones had by the people of their generation.

The Wright Brothers. Picture Source: dayton.com

When the wright brothers built airplane, It was thought that that was the pick of human ingenuity, as it was never imagined that things more sophisticated can be built today. I am sure that the write brothers themselves would marvel at if they should enter the same airplane they invented today.

The world’s leading technology companies have been brainstorming on inventing technologies that would replace human being in many things. Chief among the reason for this move is the need to reduce the risks to which human beings are exposed, when they undertake certain activities. It is therefore considered that if there can be technology in the form of human beings that can exhibit most of the human characteristics, it would go a long way in serving as human alternative.

In 1986, Honda, the great automobile company’s engineers set out to create a walking robot. This venture means development of technologies that would have legs that could simulate the walk of a human. This means that the robot must have a stabilized walk in other words, it should be able to climb stairs. The engineers also considered that for this robot to actually replace humans, it should have, a head, body and arms. Apart from this features making the robot properly replace humans, it would also help it to maintain balance. Having just a robot that has a human like shape is not enough to make Honda’s dream actualized, there is need to actually add functionality. Putting all these into consideration, Honda came-up with its ‘s first humanoid robot, P1.

Later the human qualities of P1 was improved upon. This improvement culminated in P2 which has a more friendly design, improved walking, stair climbing/descending, and wireless automatic movements.

As years pass, The P3 model was developed. The robot was standing 5’ 2” tall and weighed 287 lbs.

The Honda’s engineers adventure at last succeeded in the creation of a sophisticvated human Robot called ASIMO. ASIMO can run comfortably, walk normal, even on an uneven slope and surfaces. The Robot can turn smoothly, climb stairs, and reach out to grasp objects offered to it by human beings.

ASIMO is very intelligent, it can comprehend instructions and respond promptly to a number of human voice commands. The robot can be programmed to recognize human faces. It has camera eyes that enables it to map its environment and register stationary objects. When in motion, ASIMO can recognize and avoid moving obstacles.

It is projected by Honda that in the near future, ASIMO would become the eyes, ears, hands and legs for all kinds of disabled persons and people in need. Finally, it is believed that ASIMO WOULD replace humans in the performance of certain tasks that are dangerous to humans, such as war, fire fighting, dangerous rescues, mining and cleaning up toxic spills.
